A compact and characterful ceramic table lamp designed by Einar Johansen for Søholm Stentøj, Bornholm, Denmark. The deep cobalt blue glaze with its characteristic running finish and applied medallion motif is quintessential Søholm — hand-crafted stoneware at its most assured.
Rewired with a sky blue textile cord, chosen to echo the glaze. New handmade shade by Hakonsen Design, crafted in Denmark — a considered pairing that completes the lamp without competing with it.
Signed on the base. A beautifully resolved small lamp — equally at home on a bedside table or a shelf.
