We are curators. We seek out furniture whose story deserves to be carried on — and we make sure it can be.

Our passion for Scandinavian design, with its clean lines and timeless attitude, became a calling. We find wonderful pieces and restore them with care before letting them go back out into the world.

Our aim is to preserve these works of furniture art for generations to come. Each piece doesn't just serve a purpose — it is the expression of an era, carrying a piece of history into the present.

Our Philosophy

We don't change the furniture. We give it back its voice.

Every piece that comes to us has already lived one life. Our work is to make sure it lives another — without hiding that it has had its time.

Wood is treated exclusively with natural oils and beeswax. No lacquer. No synthetic finish. Nothing that didn't always belong there.

With lamps, we go one step further: every lamp is fully rewired by hand and fitted with a handcrafted shade that honours the character of the original. Each shade is made individually by Hakonsen Design — matched to the lamp's shape, material and presence. The object remains exactly what it was. It simply gets to shine again.

Who We Are

Anke is the creative mind with an eye for the extraordinary — and a well-documented weakness for colour. With a fine sense for surfaces, fabrics and stories, she knows how to let every piece take the stage. As a marketing professional, she is our voice to the outside world. For her, networking has always meant one thing: bringing the right people together to create something special.

Mathias is an all-round talent with a love of detail. As a mechanical engineer, precision runs in his blood — and with his keen eye for design, he takes care of all woodwork and lamps in the house. He's the one who holds the ugly duckling in his hands and already sees the swan.

Our work covers the restoration of solid wood furniture with natural oils and waxes, the reupholstering of seating in fine natural fabrics — and the complete restoration of vintage lamps: rewired, reshaded, brought back to life.
