A hand-painted ceramic table lamp designed by Inger Waage for Stavangerflint, Norway. The figural motif — a stylised woman surrounded by tulips and leaves, rendered in a palette of dusty rose, cobalt blue, and sage green — is characteristic of Waage's narrative, folkloric approach to ceramic decoration. The crackle-glazed white ground gives the piece a soft, almost illustrative quality. Inger Waage became one of Scandinavia's most celebrated ceramic designers, her work collected internationally and held in museum collections. A lamp in this condition with a strong figurative motif is rare. Rewired with an olive green textile cord that echoes the shade and the foliage in the painting. New handmade linen shade by Hakonsen Design, crafted in Denmark.
